On February 6, 2004, the Full Moon is rising in a hazy sky. From my office window, I see the wonderful lunar disk magnifying the beauty of oak branches destitute from leaves. I take my 200 mm telephoto lens, mask the lunar disk with the trunk and let the exposure meter to choose automatically the appropriate exposure time.
Because of the weak depth of field of the telephoto lens (aperture 1:4), the majority of the oak branches are fuzzy. A feeble ivy has conserved its leaves and run on the right of the trunk. |
