From 8 AM, I noticed the first 22 degrees halo of the day. So, I was staying vigilant to other probable halo display. It was around 2 PM that I notice the next one, much more contrasted than the previous one. I decided to take a photo when I saw this plane approaching, preceded by its contrail shadow.
In this picture, we guess that the contrail is over the cirrus veil displaying the halo, because it cast clearly its shadow on the cloudy veil. |
