This night, the Moon is passing in front of the Pleiades. The phase isn't really good, a partial quarter, but the occultation will be visible from the beginning to the end. I have decided to go back to Sainte Marine because of the great foreground. This year, Christophe Diquélou (from Loar Gann) is with me. We will experience some photographic things.
In this picture, the occultation has ever begun. Mars is the star visible in the lower right. |
