This morning I wake up early, 2 hour before the end of the night for the maximum of the Orionids meteor shower. I must rejoin Christophe Diquelou (ASAP Tofic) in a place he knows: the Languidou Chapel ruins.
Before going inside the ruins, I stay on the road to immortalize the Milky Way almost vertical with Cygnus at the horizon (notice North America nebula just above on the right of the house). The field is rising among Cassiopeia, Perseus, Auriga and a tiny bit of the Gemini with Mars to the far top of the picture. |
