Last stop on my way home at 3:00 AM. I'm in the picturesque village of Locronan, one of the most beautiful village of the country. At this time, the village is in the deep dark as no street light is illuminated. It's very contrasted at night compared to the crowded place during the day.
At the top of the photo, the Milky Way is crossing the sky, with the Great Andromeda Galaxy on the left. But I'm here for the pale glow just above the well located in the square of Locronan : it's the gegenschein visible at the opposite of the Sun and formed by the dust located in the plane of the Solar System. |
