Sometimes, the Sunset is along with two colored luminous apparitions more or less contrasted. Located on the border of the halo located at 22 degrees of the Sun, on the right and on the left of it, they are called "parhelions" or more frequently "sundogs".
In this picture, the right parhelion is highly colored in orange on its left with a slow bright blue shifting to the right. A foreground cloud (I think it's an altostratus) cross the parhelion. |
