For a long time, I hesitated to put this composite picture online, because the colors are not satisfying for me. But, I spent a long time to realize this composite, so, I decided to put in online.
Toward South-West, the Crescent Moon is setting. The horizon is cut in two by a cloud bar of distant cumulonimbus. I I took this picture serie to show the slow disappearance of the Moon behind the clouds and especially record the eartshine emerging from the clouds, the thin crescent being masked.
This January 3, 2003, I did also one of my favorite pictures.
