After two weeks of bad weather, the January 24, 2004 evening was really clear. Fortunately, it was the evening that the Moon have chosen to visit Venus.
Separated by only 3 degrees (6 lunar diameters), the two objects compete to be the brighter in the twilight. The Crescent Moon has adorn itself with its nice earthshine remaining inconspicuous in a too bright sky. |
