This morning, I woke up earlier than usually to catch a celestial object 10 minutes before the Sun is rising. This object is the satellite Iridium 97 flashing at magnitude -6,9.
The stars have disappeared since a long time. I have to frame using the height and azimuth announced by Calsky.com. Not easy. At the planned hour, I look at the sky where the Flash must appear. I see it and snap immediately. The camera is frame too much to the left, but with the wide-angle lens, I hope it will be in the picture. Now, I have to frame to the right and wait the next flash, one minute later.
