At the foot of the Menez-Hom is located the very nice Ste Marie du Menez-Hom church. Going back home after a evening busy to take pictures of the Full Moon rising and Mercury, I parked on the side of the road (my car is visible at the far right of the picture) to capture this great instant.
The picture seems to be taken in broad daylight, but notice the presence of the star Spica (Alpha Virga) on the right of the Full Moon. A bad glint in the lens witnesses that it's the Moon, not the Sun. |
