| On mid june 2006, the planets Saturn and Mars had the good idea to be in a close encounter near the Beehive star cluster (M44 in Messier's catalogue). Not so far from there, Mercury was too invited to the party, even if it was much fainter, lost in the orange hues of the twilight, under the Star Castor (in Gemini). In the next picture, the star cluster is visible. |
