The weather wasn't very good last night, but during the totality there were no cloud even if the transparency wasn't good at all. Just before the end of the totality, the clouds came back for good.
Here are four pictures taken during the totality. One can see how the luminosity is changing during the Moon's transit in the Earth's shadow cone. At the beginning (upper left), the upper part of the Moon is the brighter, then this bright area shift toward the left side of the Moon with an orange glow appearing. |
