At 3:00 AM, the Quarter Moon is still high in the sky. It is illuminating directly one part of the foreground. The Milky Way is barely visible. One hour later, the Moon is lower and the Mily Way which is still rising is more easy to spot. But 40 minutes later, once the Moon set, the Milky Way is gorgeous. It passes above the light pollution of Douarnenez. |
