A few days before, the sky was hazy, but without the red cirrus visible in the previous photo. Realizing many pictures (some 30 s exposure at 1600 ISO and the lens wide open at 1.4) and stitching them as in a panorama, the Gegenschein is well visible. One can see clearly that it is elongated: it extends from the Pisces toward the Pleiades (out of the frame on the left). The colors are strange, because I had to manipulated strongly the picture to reveal the Gegenschein. |
