| The Gegenschein is actually very difficult to catch. This is one of the best picture I have for this phenomenon. By pushing the contrast, it is possible to see a pale band tilt by 30° regarding the vertical, beginning above the small tree in the middle of the horizon and extending toward the Pleiade (the bright and undefined patch above left of the picture center). The light pollution and its orange halo don't facilitate its observation. |
